Fresh local and organic

All our tavernas are handpicked after much tasting and testing of the food and the wine.
The key is that they use local ingredients and love what they do…..and it shows

Our area is famous for its chestnut forests and our taverna in the chestnut village is very creative with all the dishes they cook with them, from a chestnut garlic dip, to pork and chestnut casserole, to chestnut cake with chocolate icing!

The strawberry tree fruit above can be eaten freshly picked from the tree, or it is used to make a very clear clean alcohol called ‘tsipouro’….fire water to finish off a meal!

Above is our local souvlaki plate…..we wash it down with a great Greek beer FIX!

We love our food and drink

There will be plenty of new things to try and the simple taste of food that has travelled only from the garden to the table. Whether it is mountain greens, or wild asparagus, or fried cheese bread, or fresh lamb chops, or fish just delivered from the small boat rocking on the waves…..it is all organic and delicious!

Our picnics are homemade too with a different savory and sweet every day. Sue uses local recipes and adds a twist!

Sometimes we have real home cooking where we open up our mountain homes for a traditional meal with the family.
