Spring comes early to our home and the flower extravaganza keeps going until well into the Summer.

Our National Park alone has 109 endemic flowers and with Greece having the highest biodiversity in Europe what better place to spend Spring walking.

We know where to take you to see the best of the best and have many special areas at different heights from the seaside to mountain peaks.

Here are just a few of the highlights you will see walking with us:-

Pyramid orchids abound half an hour’s walk from your hotel in April and May

We often hear about wonderful Alpine plants and you would think the Alps would be the best place to see them in Europe, but not so. Greece has more endemic alpine plants than the rest of Europe due to its very special geography of high mountains and river valleys crisscrossing the country and nowhere more so than the Peloponnese.

If your ideal walking experience would include walking through unspoilt flower meadows full of the sound of bees then make sure you head our way in the Spring….anytime from the beginning of March to end of May we walk with the most wonderful colours around and the smell of herbs and flowers on the breeze.

The endemic plants and flowers in our area include the Syrian Juniper forest near Malevis Monastery, various alpine plants on the cliff faces and gorges near Leonidio and a fabulous violet only found on the top of Mount Parnon
